Happy Tuesday! We are staying at a Premier Inn in a couple nights time and have requested a travel cop but they do not come with a mattress, do I need a mattress??? Sorry if this is a silly question I’m completely new to all of this.

Technically no. However we tend to take our own when we can as they are quite hard. When our little one was still in the bassinet part of the pram we used that. Of it's only one or two nights I wouldn't worry but if it's more than that I'd consider taking your own if you have one. Our youngest does a nightmare before flying abroad absolutely fine on those travel cots but I wouldn't want him sleeping on it for a whole holiday.
