I’ve just been told I have this (35 weeks pregnant) my only symptom is itching, I’ve been booked into have weekly blood tests. Has anybody else had this and had to deliver baby earlier? Thank you xx

My daughter just turned one and I had it when I was pregnant. Thought it was a bad eczema flare up but it wasn't, I was 32 weeks at the time. Had to have weekly blood tests and have a liver scan. Had to be induced at 38+2 because my liver levels were over 300. She's a happy and healthy baby, you'll be fine x

I had this… was monitored from around week 34/35 induction was planned at 38 weeks cuz of my levels, but my waters broke at 36+6 and was induced at 37 weeks because of that. X

I currently have this I am 36+2 and last week my bile acids were 38.4. It’s not really changed my birth plan because I was always going to be induced at 39 weeks but the consultant said if it continues to climb it’ll be 38 weeks, if the levels spike to over 100 it’ll be a c section the same day or day after. I’m gutted it could potentially ruin my plans for a VBAC but there really is nothing you can do but take it week by week xx

my bile acids are at 17.5, the midwife said anything over 14 was obstetric cholestasis - I’m booked for a c section at 39 weeks anyway so hopefully stays that way! X

I had this from an early stage, had weekly blood tests and liver scans and discussed early delivery. I naturally went into labour 1.5 weeks early but ended up having a c-section as my body couldn't cope. But my little girl is happy and healthy and turning 1 in 4 days

I had this and had to go in once a week for monitoring, they gave me something to help with the itching (didn’t really help for me) but other than that everything was fine! I was booked in for an induction but he had other plans, contractions started and gave birth naturally at 37 weeks so a little early but safe gestation I believe, no complications and he’s happy and healthy 🙂xx

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
