I’m thinking about taking the side of my daughter’s cot to make it a toddler bed, those of you that have been through this, do you make sure there are no toys in their room to distract them from going to sleep?!

Mine has a few cuddly bears on his bed. He has his books on a rack on the floor, that's it. Also, baby gate on his room. He doesn't seem to bother with any of them come bedtime so far. Just think routine is key.

We have her bed and her basket of soft toys, I refuse to have anything else in there as she'd be way too easily distracted 😂 even thw soft toys are too much sometimes and we have to get her attention away from them to get her in bed!

My boy only has his bed a set of draws and his favourite teddy Leon the lamb he sleeps from 7pm until 7am/7.30am xx

does your little one have naps in the day time? Xx
