13 month old refusing naps

Hi,

I recently returned back to work and LO is with family. She was on 2 naps schedule and bedtime at 7:30/8 but past 2 days she is resisting all her naps. Today she woke up at 6 and didn’t nap till I returned back at 4:30. Took a short 30 mins nap and bedtime got pushed to 9 pm. Does anyone else face this.

My little girl is in this stage at the moment, my first also did the same around 13-15 months.

She literally is having 30 mins a morning and fighting the afternoon sleep.
It won’t be forever!
It’s also a very weird age from being ready to drop to one nap but not quite ready just yet.

ah. Any idea long does it last ? I tried pushing her first nap later but that didn’t work as well :(

My LO refused her afternoon nap too often so we moved to 1 nap. In all honesty I don’t think she was quite ready. She is really tired by 11.30am when we aim to put her down but it’s less stress than trying to get her to nap again. She sleeps anywhere from 1h30-2h30 though

It sounds like she needs to transition to one nap. My little one was refusing to nap. I switched to 1 nap at 10 months and he now goes down easily for 2-3 hours and sleeps better at night

thanks for the inputs. What is the wake windows that you follow ?

My little one usually wakes around 7/7:30. I typically put him down at around 12(just after his lunch) and he wakes between 2-3 and then bedtime between 7 and 8. He’s at nursery 4 days a week and I follow their routine

I have the same problem but only at nursery so it’s probably because my lo just doesn’t feel secure there and misses me. He takes two naps as normal when at home. Im finding it very hard, he’s definitely not ready for just one nap and I don’t want to push him, so I’m anxiously waiting to see how he gets on in the nursery. Except he spends two days in and comes home sick for a week or more

I guess my LO is also missing me and refusing naps. I started work recently and on days I am home it’s relatively better

how long has it been since your return to work?

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
