Is anyone else’s baby waking every few minutes in the night? I feel like I’m going crazy! He cries (sometimes in his sleep) for his dummy and stops as soon as it’s put in but the will push it out and cry again.
Up until now (5.5 months) he’s been a brilliant sleeper so I don’t know what’s happening?! He’s not usually fed in the night as he usually doesn’t need a feed, but recently we have been feeding him once throughout the night but nothing seems to help x

We swaddled both of our twins and they slept through the night until we unswaddled them at 4 months. We tried everything, all sorts of sleeping bags … 1 arm swaddled and 1 out for a few days. We just held their arms for a few mins until they settled. It was the hardest part I’ve ever dealt with since they have been born but they did get used to it and started to sleep more but they still wake up now since that once for a feed and they are 6 months. Xxx

It will get easier, it just seems that the transition takes so long when you’re used to sleep xx

thank you, sounds like we just need to ride the wave! We’ve tried to one arm out bags too, but he just got more frustrated 😂xx

yes exactly that unfortunately haha… it’s safe to say Becky, I’ll never swaddle another baby again after it 😂 you’ve got this and it definitely will get easier, hang in there I know it’s so tough! Xxx

thank you! X

This happened with me since we stopped unswaddling my little girl at 4 months she still does this now nothing again seems to help xx

We started to try unswaddling our baby at 4months and gave up! We then did one arm out for about 4weeks and only in the last week have we transitioned to the sleeping bag. The first night was awful but it has got slightly better, it’s definitely not easy though so I understand what you’re going through! We’ll get there eventually

it has got a little better but not majorly! But we aren’t even a week in yet, so hoping it will improve over the next few weeks x
