Line progression

I found out at 4 weeks but the lines have never gotten darker. I’m now 4 weeks 5 days and am assuming it’s a chemical pregnancy. I’ve not had any bleeding or change in symptoms so haven’t contacted my medical provider. I’m in the UK if that helps. Should I tell them my lines aren’t progressing?
For those who’ve had the same, how long were you testing faint positives before you started to bleed?
Thank you.

Don’t worry too much yet, those tests are soooo slow to progress. Maybe try a boots 6 day early test and do it a few days apart. They’re much better

In my opinion (I’ve had 3 miscarriages in a row now my last one a chemical) and people told me that my tests were fine even though I had no progression etc, however I used them in my 3 pregnancies (2 was missed miscarriages but my tests were progressing as a normal pregnancy would) and even though easy at home is rubbish for progression if your pregnancy is progressing you’d definitely see it no matter how bad they are. Unfortunately I believed people got my hopes up and 2 weeks later I started bleeding. Mine was completely negative before I bled. Took around 2 weeks even though my tests was about the same darkness as yours. - sorry this is probably not what you wanna hear I just wanted to be real with you as I know how much it’s a load of bullshit that it’s not happening :( I’m sorry girl x

This might be an early pregnancy loss, I had something similar line was not progressing and eventually started bleeding a week later. No matter what happens a viable pregnancy will always have a progressive line. Good luck x

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately these are the only tests showing me anything right now. I’ve done ClearBlue, Boots, Superdrug and even unbranded ones. Sadly all very faint and not getting darker.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am at a place of acceptable and appreciate your honesty. I’m just keen to know one way or another at this point - two weeks sounds like a long wait for a bleed but I hope my body will do what it needs to. Thanks again x

Thank you for your reply. I’d always assumed the bleed would come on quickly. Sounds like that’s not the case. Thanks again. X

You’re welcome, I don’t wanna get your hopes up as I did for my last miscarriage even though I know where it was gonna end up. It was a horrible wait. It definitely will when it feels ready too. I actually only ended up spotting which was ridiculous. Not sure what happened but my test was negative before x

Aww ok I’m sorry to hear that. I wasn’t trying to get your hopes up as I’ve had 2 miscarriages myself, but without knowing you’d tried other tests also,I thought it was worth a suggestion. I guess nothing is definite until Mother Nature intervenes. I actually had a missed miscarriage first time round and required surgery as my body didn’t recognise the pregnancy loss, and second time was a chemical which this may be. My lines went very light very quickly though

What’s a chemical pregnancy?

I'm so not meant to be a mother.

My kids won't listen to me get into stuff when they know they aren't supposed to. Telling me no all the time. Only listen to their dad. Laughs when I correct them. I spend most of my time yelling at them because they don't want to listen to me at all. My husband said that I shouldn't have kids. And I am believing him on it. I was never meant to be a mother now. I won't hurt my kids I just want to disappear and make everyone else's lives better without me.

One and done… or not?

32ftm. I’m starting to feel so much pressure to have another baby soon as I wean from breastfeeding so they can be close in age and be friends, but I don’t feel ready for pregnancy and newborn trenches again 😭 my husband and I are all we’ve got. Having just one baby without a village has been really tough. Am I being unrealistic wanting another one soon?

Tests

So I had a blood test at the drs bc I keep getting positive tests when the blood test was negative what could this mean? Hubby says the tests are negative and said he can’t see anything. Negative image down below.

Am I pregnant?

I lightly spotted almost 5 days ago, which is not common for me before my period.
My period was supposed to come today. I should have tested in the morning but its 5:30pm.
Is there a second line??

Anyone have this happen before?

We were not trying to conceive, used protection and had sex on week 2 of my cycle (accidentally on my peak ovulation day). Week 3 we had Flu A. Week 4 my period did not come (it’s very regular). I tested and it was negative (2 different brands).
What should have been week 2 of my next cycle (now 6 weeks post last period), I had light red/ pink spotting for one day when I wiped. The following week, I tested again, still negative, but this time almost all the dye was in the negative space, which I’ve never seen happen before. The area where it shows one horizontal line for negative and a plus sign for positive, the horizontal line was super faded at the 3 minute mark, and the negative vertical line in the next window was VERY dark. Now I’m on week 8 of all this, period did not show up yesterday. Nothing in my life has changed (no additional stress, no other illness, no changes in diet or exercise, etc).

Has anyone gone through this and NOT been pregnant? I’m super nervous as we thought we were done having kids.

PS. I know I should go get a blood test, does anyone know if urgent care will do that? I’m past being convinced by a pee test.
