Hey mamas! I’m finding myself seriously struggling with sleeping in my own bed. I have trouble falling asleep and almost nightly end up in my son’s room sleeping on the floor mattress we got for after he had surgery so someone could be with him. He’s a great sleeper and there’s usually no wakings overnight but I am the one struggling because my anxiety takes over. I’m not even sure what I am anxious about! I think it started after he got his first few colds over the winter and I just can’t seem to get myself comfortable again with not being in the same room as him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

If you can find what is triggering it that might help. You could seek therapy. Maybe an hour or two before bed don’t do tv or your phone to help you relax you could try tart cherry juice or sleepy time tea.
I hope it gets better for you.

Postpartum anxiety can happen even long after birth. For sure something to talk to your doctor about they can be really helpful. Hopefully it subsides soon for you but for sure get some support!
