anyone else?? it’s hard because i feel so tired yet cant sleep. i’ve been awake since 3:30am and it’s now 5:15am. i remember this with my first, as if my body was getting ready for the sleepless nights, but i don’t feel ready to function today with a toddler. luckily my partner is on rest days so i should be able to have a nap later, but jesus im tired. my partners snoring doesn’t help in me trying to go back to sleep either 🥴

Yes I’ve been like this for the last 3 months (now 38 weeks) and had to work next day. No toddler though.

gosh that’s awful! i remember having this when pregnant with my first and having to work on a couple hours sleep was so difficult, it’s truly exhausting x

Same, luckily my 2.5 yr old still has a nap so i grab an hour jn the afternoon.
Keep having strange dreams then wide awake! The joys. X

i miss my sons naps 😭 he’s 3years 7months, and this exhaustion can get so difficult having to be up for him, but luckily partner is off work today so he can do his dad duties whilst i catch up on sleep later🥲 xxx

🙋🏼♀️ yes. And that is my usual time frame awake too. I actually had a cry on Saturday night as I was so tired and yet just lying there awake 😂😂 & when they are snoring away next to you and you think of all the horrible things you could do to them 😅🫠😂 I joke. I joke haha xx

hahaha trust me i’ve thought about smothering him with a pillow 🥴🤣🤣 it just becomes painful after a while though doesn’t it? like so tired, so desperate for sleep but unable to, and even more painful when there is someone doing something (i.e snoring) that prevents you from going back to sleep, it’s a nightmare! Xx

Yes has this, although the last week or so I have been waking a lot but getting right back to sleep and had a couple of nights where I’ve had three good chunks of sleep. It’s so hard though! I’ve been sleeping in the spare room as every noise my partner makes drives me mad and I also
Don’t want to disturb him! 💤

Yes same! I went on Mat leave Friday (38 weeks and C-section for next Tuesday). I actually find it easier when going to work than when home with my daughter next day 🫣 she’s 4 and past nap stage and what I’d do for a lie down… poorly timed starting mat leave with Easter break from nursery 🙃

If I struggle I wake my partner up and make him give me head rubs until I fall asleep which seems to work!
