14mo walking between 5-5:30 every morning and either doesn’t go back to sleep or takes over an hour to go back to sleep. He used to come into bed with me and immediately fall back asleep till 7am but doesn’t anymore.
For reference, he sleeps 7pm-5/5:30am. Nap 1: 30 minutes at 9:15am. Nap 2: 12:45pm and I’d wake at 2:30pm. He’s not ready to drop to 1 nap as he’s grumpy AF without naps.
Is he just an early waker or do I need to adjust something?

Can you push bedtime back by an hour to 8? That worked for us and now she wakes 6.15-7am which I'm fine with.
Understand end of the day is hard, but now the weather is better we just take her out for walks (even if supermarket) or to be park for the swings. Then quick bath, pyjamas and she passes out pretty quick

I’d try tonight by 30 minutes first, and slowly make later. Did you extend 2nd nap or wake later by abit? I’m worried 2:30pm wake up till 7:30 is gonna be torture for him haha

My girl dropped to one nap which is the pattern she fell into because of nursery. She's never over tired and sleeps pretty well through the night on most nights. She has a nap at 12pm for 2-3 hours.
But you know your bubs best and they are all different when it comes to sleep needs. My best friend's son who is the same age as mine is totally different and they go to the same nursery together!

Either make bedtime later or remove 30 mins of the second nap so he’s more tired for bed and will sleep longer. Takes a good 5 days to see a difference in early morning rises xx

Mine exactlyyyy the same!!
