Weight gain

Yes it’s normal my son is over 14lbs and just turned 2months. It’s still within normal limits on the growth chart. Hes grown out of most of his 0-3 clothes

I wouldn't worry. There is no such thing as an overweight baby. Baby fat means healthy growth. He also seems to tell you when he is satisfied by pushing the bottle out with his tongue. He's eating, he's growing, that's wonderful news.

I'll also say that the baby clothes sizing system is outdated. Babies are as varied as any human being, some are bigger, some are smaller, like my 9 weeks still in newborn size.

You might even be able to let him sleep longer overnight if you want, and he cooperates, of course. Some pediatricians say wait until 3 months, but others would say at 13 lb if before then.

that’s totally normal, my baby boy turns 2 months on the 28th of this month so we still got about 2 weeks and my baby is about 11 1/2 lbs and has been gaining about a lb a week. He’s already outgrown some of his 0-3 clothes (brands vary a little in their sizing). I don’t think you have anything to worry about

Yes my baby girl was born 8lbs and 12lbs at her 5 week check up. She’s definitely gained since then we have a 9 week appointment next week she’s probably near 14 now. Nothing to worry about unless your doctor tells you it is, weight gain is great. She was wearing a 6-9 month outfit today and a newborn outfit last night (it’s stretchy) haha. All the sizes and brands fit differently.
