14 months pp random spotting
I’ve been experiencing random spotting on and off (and also some bleeding after s*x) for about 6 months now. I’m currently in the progress of getting checked out (in the UK it takes a while to get access to a gynaecologist unless paying private). But I am really panicking about it. I had a smear test 12 after birth and it came back all fine. But I just can’t help be stressed. Also because it’s going to be a while before I get answers 😢 I have never dealt with something like this before having my son. I’m worried I won’t be able to have anymore children of that something even worse will be wrong me.
Has anyone else experienced something like this post-partum and if you are ok sharing what the cause was?

*12 weeks after birth
no I am not 🙈 I did have some spotting from bc when I was originally on it but I know that was just from my body adjusting when I first started the pill.
I did wonder about that but I have taken multiple tests over the 6 months this has been going on 🙈 and all negative. Also I do still get my normal period every month.
Stopped breastfeeding a while back 😢
I have this from endometriosis and my friend has it from having a tilted cervix x
oh! I have a cervix that is really hard to get to for cervical exams and smear tests etc. I wonder if it could be tilted 🤔
With your endo, do you have many other symptoms too? Friends of mine that have it also suffer with pain. But maybe that’s not the case for everyone.
I had lots of investigations for the same before I had my daughter. Never found a reason for it.
Bleeding after sex if you’ve had a normal smear is less of a worry. Most likely an ectopian which lots of women have.
Lots of reasons for spotting, many of them entirely benign. How long are your cycles and is the bleeding totally random or in the week before your period? Essentially you need a uss to look at your uterus and go from there. I understand the worry but I would not jump to thinking it will in any way affect your ability to have more children. The biggest predictor of successful pregnancy is a previous one.

That’s exactly how my friend discovered hers is tilted was at her smear test!
I’ve managed to acquire the majority of symptoms unfortunately😂 severe pelvic pain is my main one, I also have leg pain, pain during/after sex, irregular cycle and spotting, nausea etc x
