Really struggling with LO’s sleep!! Please help🙏🏻

My little boy is going to sleep about 4 hours for his first wake window( he’s 13 months and 1 week for reference)and sleep lasts for 1.5 hours, but because I’m not with him in the afternoon he’s with his grandma, she doesn’t actively get him to sleep for a 2nd nap, even when he does nap for her it’s lasting 30 minutes. When he’s with his grandma in the afternoon she’ll go out for a walk in the hope he goes to sleep but if he doesn’t then he’s awake until bedtime which would be 6:45. But when he’s at home with me on my days off he naps for 1-1.5 hours for his second nap which pushes his bedtime between 8-9. For the past 2/3 weeks he’s been waking between 4-5 near enough every morning, no matter how late or early he goes to bed! I’m not sure if he’s having too much or too little daytime sleep and I’m really struggling about knowing what to do with his sleep. Can someone please give me advice on how to handle this and if he needs to drop to 1 nap per day and how we do this?😩

For my little girl - 2 day time naps pushes her bedtime back a lot. She’ll nap once a day now (as long as she’s had 1.5hr) and then bed time is 6:30/7:30. She will sleep until 6:30am when I wake her up for me to go to work.

@Rosie what time does she have her nap? x

@Natalie I’d love to do something like this but when he’s with his grandma he’s so stubborn with his sleep in the afternoon, and I usually have to drop him off between 12-12:30 so I can go to work it’s just so hard🤣x

We transitioned to one nap a week before her first birthday and she’s a lot better for it. She’s sleeps in a little more walking between 7.30 & 8 now and going to bed around 7pm. Nap is now quite consistently at 12 and she’ll do anything from 1 to 2.5h!
