Healing stitches

Advice needed 🥲 I had an episiotomy, and my stitches are not healing well, I am 6 weeks pp, I’ve already had antibiotics for an infection however a few days ago my stitches started to sting and feel irritated again. Today I have had some spotting of blood from the area, I can’t tell if I’m starting my period or if something is going on with the stitches 😢 online says I shouldn’t get a period for a few months if I breastfeed full time, so I’m concerned as to what this blood is, is this normal?

I'd go back to docs. Better to be safe then sorry.
At my 3rd midwife check up they finally swabbed my stitches to check for infection as I wasn't right, cold sweats and dizziness. I was back in hospital the next day due to aomethong else and while they were sorting that they found my stitches were infected and restitched them. I could actually sit down after.

Periods can come back straight away, even if breastfeeding.

My stitches came apart day 5 and i had an infection, i am 8 weeks postpartum now and my wound hasn’t healed yet 💔 i understand what you are going through it is very painful and sad 😥 i have seen GP many times, they keep telling me it takes time to heal. I also had some spotting but mine was from the wound. The doctor said the wound is raw that is why it might bleed sometimes. I asked to be stitched again they said they can’t do that! The wound needs to heal by itself and it is taking forever 💔

where do u live? How did they restitch them? Why doctors keep telling me that they can’t restich the wound even though i don’t have an infection now 😥

I ended up with sepsis and was back in 5 days pp due to placenta being left inside. They restitched me while I was under having the sweep to get it out. They never said why I was stitched again apart from it was infected. Before they realised all that I kept getting told it would heal and that it takes time. I'm boarder of Wales.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.
