Do you still use sleeping bags?

Someone made a comment about my tot using a sleeping bag. Am I the only one still using them? I find them great to make sure my lg doesn’t end up cold in the night. What are your thoughts? Should I be using a blanket?

We still use them, our LO is always happiest in a routine and it’s part of ours for bed time

We still use them, but not sure for how much longer seeing as the biggest I can find is upto 36 months and my little one is quite tall 🙈

We are still using them! My LB keeps asking for a blanket though so I think we will transition soon. We tried a couple of months ago but it was a nightmare, he kept ending up on top of it and would wake up cold

I still use one. My wee girl loves her "sleepy coat"

We still use them and probably will until she refuses, she's in a toddler bed most of the night. We have the ones with feet in though so she can roam about in them. We use slumbersac which are quite pricey but do go to big sizes

Still use them. Have ones with feet though as he's in a big boy bed so can get out by himself.

We have a floor bed so he can't fall out as such but still use a sack due to him rolling around all night and getting cold if we dont! They go up to that size for a reason :)

We do. We use a duvet for naps but bag overnight…. We tried using the duvet at night but she kept losing her lovey or getting half out and probably being cold or uncomfortable and woke a lot. We have Mori bags which we get in the sale because they’re expensive, but she’s in size 2-4 years and has been for a while to give her the room. Still in a cot though!

Still using one for naps (nursery and home), and he is still in his cot at home. Without his sleeping bag he would 1) get cold as he'd kick off the blanket, and 2) try to climb out of the cot. So it will stay as long as it fits! 😊

My little boy is still in his cot with the sides up, no sign of getting out yet! We use the slumbersac sleeping bags with legs and fold over feet so he is very cosy. He wriggles about a lot in the night so I think a duvet wouldn’t work out so well!

Yes we still use a sleeping bag, still in a cot bed with sides. Once she’s potty trained in the day we will probably transition to a toddler bed and duvet. Tbh my daughter is always flipping about so I’m not going to stress until it’s warmer as she will just kick off the duvet and be cold…every half hour!

We only moved to duvet, as we have a floor bed ready for him to move into (since November). We thought the transition to a new bed, new room and a new duvet would be too much. He hasn’t shown any interest in it though 😅

My little girl still uses a sleeping bag. She loves it because she moves about a lot so she always stays covered and all warm and snuggly. I tried her with a blanket and she was not a fan!

We still use them and he sleeps great so I don’t see why we’d switch anytime soon! Currently on holiday and he was asking for it the first night before we got ready for bed (still sleeps in a cot)

Avatar

We still use his 'cozy bag' and he never wants to get out of it in the morning. He's in a bed with a bed guard, just reading comments above about just using them in cots, are you not supposed to use them if they're in a bed?

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?
