Hey mamas, I went to my 20 week anatomy scan and my baby is healthy & all her anatomy looks great. The only thing is they told me she’s measuring at 18 weeks. Has this happened to any of you before? If so, what caused it and did your baby catch up in size? They tell me it could be multiple things but since i’m early right now it could change and she could also just be smaller. I can’t help but to think it’s because of me not doing something right. i think about it constantly. Any advice for peace of mind would be appreciated ❤️

I had my anatomy scan at 22 weeks and baby was measuring 20 weeks. I also found out the edges of my placenta were raised which could’ve possibly caused it, but no way to tell. I now have a growth scan every 4 weeks until birth. Doctor says there’s nothing I can do, but to be safe I’ve been exercising more, eating more greens, and staying hydrated.

With my first he was measuring 2-3 weeks ahead until 30 weeks and then he was measuring 4 weeks ahead. I was told he would be 10-12lbs at birth because how big he was measuring. He was born 7lbs at 39 weeks. It’s all estimated really so I wouldn’t worry. My friends daughter was measuring behind by about 3 weeks told she was gonna be tiny and was born 8lbs.

My daughter was measuring small around that time too, I was so worried but she eventually caught up and was born weighing almost 8 pounds! She is 1 now and very healthy! I was 20w 5d measuring 18w 2d. I know it’s hard but try not to worry mama! 💜
