8weeks post postpartum

when can I have another baby ? I’ve seen people get pregnant right after having a baby but I was told to let my body heal . I think I had read something about 18 months then i can have another baby but I feel like that’s to far apart . I wouldn’t mind getting pregnant in a year .

My OB told me if I’m open to another C-section I don’t have to wait that long (we had to use fertility treatments in the past and want to avoid doing them again so she said it’d be okay to not prevent). But I’d just talk to your OB and see what they recommend.

My OB also said they’d be comfortable with me getting pregnant at 9 months PP if I wanted a repeat c-section, but if I wanted to try for a VBAC then she said to wait 18 months because if your uterus has not had enough time to heal before pushing during labor, your uterus could rupture which endangers you and baby. You can talk to your OB and get their professional take on it. Overall, you’ve got 7 layers of muscle, skin, etc that has to heal, it takes time.

tbh, it really depends on your body and how you're feeling, but a lot of docs suggest waiting at least 18 months to give yourself a good chance to heal, ya know?
I actually checked the 'Heal App' for this and here's what it says:

"It's great that you're thinking about your family's future! Generally, healthcare providers recommend waiting at least 18 months after giving birth before trying to conceive again. This allows your body time to heal and recover, reducing risks for both you and the baby. However, many women do conceive sooner, and if you're feeling well and ready, it's important to discuss your plans with your healthcare provider to ensure it's safe for you.

What specific concerns do you have about your recovery or the timing of your next pregnancy?"

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
