31+1 weeks and growth scan

I’ve just came back from a growth scan and I get these usually every 2 weeks as he is growing around the 3rd percentile but today they came back and said they need to monitor me even more frequently as they have noticed the blood flow through the cord is higher than expected. I’m being scanned every Tuesday and Friday now alongside a CTG

Has anyone else had this news? Or know what happens with this news?
She made a slight comment about him possibly being induced at 36 weeks now rather than 37 and I’ve never been more confused and Google is not looking great for this scenario 😂😂😂

I had this at 28 weeks with my first pregnancy, the pressure of the blood flow through the cord was high and my baby had drastically dropped growth since the last growth scan indicating that the placenta wasn’t working correctly, my little girl was delivered at 28 weeks and it was due to pre eclampsia! They will continue to monitor the scans and growth/cord flow and decide when is best/safe to deliver, keep an eye on movements but it’s great you’re getting the extra monitoring - good luck! 🫶🏼 x

sorry I read this earlier but couldn’t get the chance to reply!! Thank you for sharing that- it’s super intense that, that can happen!! He still put on weight which they were happy with and that he was growing along his pathway but she said there is a chance it could just be they check again and it’s fine but she doesn’t have answers which just left me in the dark again 😂😂😂 I did have a nosey at your page and I seen your wee girl is two so that’s amazing 🥹🥹🥹 x

definitely unfortunately it’s never linear and sometimes it can be a one off on a growth scan which obviously doesn’t make it any easier to get your head round 🤣 Its great that he is still gaining weight as it’s a sign that’s he’s getting the nutrition that he needs - have my fingers crossed that the next scan is all fine 🤞🏼yes she’s two and an absolute wild fire! 😅 x

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.
