Sleep pressure

Nursery told me today that my LG class has had lots of new babies start and that because they aren’t settled and waking up crying my LG is now only having a 30 minute nap during the day as she’s being woken up by other babies. We have a 40 minute drive home and today it was very difficult to keep her awake. She slept maybe 5-10 minutes. Have I completely ruined her sleep pressure for the night? She was also up teething last night so she is knackered x

Not necessarily 😊. When he first started my baby was only sleeping 30 mins a day at nursery with 10 mins on the way home and still ready for bed at a normal time. Hope she sleeps ok 😊

I would have let her have the sleep on the way home to avoid over tiredness. We are aiming for one nap day but my sleep consultant said if she only sleeps for less than an hour at nursery then to try and do a bridging nap after nursery to see her through until bedtime.
My babies night problems are caused by over tiredness so we (try) to make sure she gets the right amount of day time sleep (2hrs)
By her having a 10 min nap you have probably relieved at least some sleep pressure so just try and get her to bed a bit early

were dammed if we let them sleep, dammed if we don’t. Some people would say letting them nap that close to bedtime is a bad idea! Just never know if I’m doing right from wrong. My LG usually has 1/1:15 naps a day typically x

fingers crossed! She is still absolutely shattered, she didn’t each all of her dinner x

5-10 minutes won’t make a difference! They won’t have fallen into deep sleep so you’ll be grand x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
