Has anyone used the 3 day/oh crap method of potty training?
If so how did it go ❤️
Day one was so tiring but she did one successful big wee on the potty.
Please I need more motivation that this will help?

I used the big little feelings course and it took 3 days for her to grasp it all. And now she barely ever has accidents, and she hates wearing nappies x
at what age?
My daughter is 2 in July x

We started when she was 2.5 and it all just clicked. She’s now just over 3 and wakes up dry every night.
If she appears ready and likes the potty then I’m sure it’ll all just clicked for her x

I didn’t follow any method, but my daughter was accident free in 3 days, but that’s because she was really ready. I think that’s the key thing really.

Didn't work at all with my son but worked perfectly for my nephew
I just really hope day 2 goes a bit better

2 1/2 yrs old is the sweet spot, IMO.

My 22 month old was completely potty trained and asking to go potty by the end of the first day. I swear by it! She was back in undies/clothes by day 2.
We did it outside on the porch (middle of summer) to eliminate all the stress, I think that’s why it was so successful.
well my daughter is 21 months and lots and lots of wees and lots of sitting in the potty etc but only one successful wee in the potty.
We went all day and I stayed consistent. I just really hope the second day she gets the hang of it!!!
Everyone has been saying I started too early but I was confident in her abilities as she is so smart!!! X

In my experience with my son, if it's difficult and stressful, they aren't ready. We had 2 awful days when we first tried, he wasn't getting it at all, 3rd day he asked for a nappy. We tried a few months later, a bit of a rough couple of hours then it clicked. 2 days at home naked, went out the 3rd day with trousers on, no pants, he was fine, asked to go. In comparison it was a breeze.

I did the oh crap method at 20 months and it is great!!! The first day was literally crazy for us but she got the hang of it with minimal accidents by the third day! We are a week and a half or so in and she rarely has an accident, but if she does it’s often from me missing the cues 😅

We really just had to ride the wave 😂😂 because the first day at this age for our daughter made me start questioning what did we get ourselves into lol

I combined the 3 day method with oh crap and 3 days is very unrealistic tbh. I’m saying this as someone who’s already done elimination communication so my toddler was already halfway potty trained and hadn’t pooped in a diaper since he was 6 months old. That being said, it took about 10 days before I could confidently say he’s potty trained.

I did a rewards program so every time he went to the potty he would get a small reward did this for two months and now he tells me that he needs to go or he will take himself he is 3 but started at 1 after the first week we only needed nappies for nap time or if we were out and about
