My baby just turned 5 months old a couple of days ago and he’s suddenly started to automatically go to his side when I lay him on his back to sleep. Is this normal? I keep putting him back onto his back and I feel like it’s unsafe but not sure?

As long as he's putting himself into that position he's fine 🖤

Let that baby rest how he want. He know what's comfy. He's getting mobile now n does not have to rely on words or anything else that was unavailable to him to sleep how he wants ya know. If you are adamant get a boppie pillow and place it in the middle of his bed/crip etc and lay him on his back in it. He'll sleep like a baby. Age 39 vet mom of three oldest 16 youngest 6. Trust me 😁🫶🏽

Absolutely do not put anything in the crib with him, crib needs to be completely clear!

I said what I said go look up a boppy pillow it keeps them in place yall new moms slay me sometimes. Let me exit stage left yall got it!

Again, my first suggestion is to let him rest how he wants it's a new ability for him. I promise you these Dr's do not know everything. Just my advice, of course. Us moms have superpowers. I know you will figure out what to do. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you all the peace, love, and light on your mommy journey 💕.

@StarBorne6 I know what it is, they're unsafe for unsupervised sleep 🙈
