Extra clingy 20 months old

my son is the same he’s about to be 3 years old especially when it’s time to sleep he needs to lay on one of my arms and my daughter who’s about to be 2 does the same now because she sees him do it it’s draining i don’t know how long of this phase i can handle 🥲

My little boy is 3 and still clingy, everywhere I go he follows me and frequently asks to be picked up and hold 😅

Omg I hope it’s only a phase 😭 my son is 10 months and he’s literally the same way. He will scream Bloody Mary if I’m not giving him attention or if I walk away or just not in his face 😭 I’m Sooooo drained.

Now I do feel it’s because he’s with 24/7 and I am a single mom but still smh it’s crazy exhausting. I would say if you haven’t already tried this here has been extra time with your son try to create a routine and little by little try to go away so he knows that it’s ok that can step away for a little.

@Imani thanks for sharing. We do have a routine but he still gets very anxious and screams whenever I am not near him. It's true I am also with him mostly as I'm a sahm and he doesn't go to nursery, so maybe that's also why

@Brenda ufff that sounds really hard. This is part of the reason I don't want a second one yet though my husband really does. Hope they grow out of it soo
