Toddler bed time?

What time does your toddler (2.5y) go to bed? Mine? Usually around 8pm. Right now seems livelier than ever, and not showing any signs of tiredness. Think the long spring/summer days are going to be a problem…

Bedtime routine starts at half 7 he’s normally asleep for 8pm x

Honestly hes normally asleep anytime between 7 and 10. Im really unstrict with bedtime. Hes just gone to bed now but he shares a room with his sister so they will probably play for an hour

If she naps, about 9-9:30! I’ve been trying to phase out her naps and she’s asleep before 7:30 if she doesn’t have one. Crazy how much longer she can last after a 45 minute nap 😂

6pm/6.30pm

8.30 these days, but on no nap days, closer to 7.30 x

We’ve “touch wood” just come out of a bad patch night time bed setting my girl goes to bed 7.45/8 asleep by 8.15 the last few weeks it was a struggle to get her asleep by 9 we had to re-look at her schedule as she had started sleeping in until 7am and was still napping for 2 hours so our schedule is
6.15am up
6.30am milk
8am breakfast
Snack around 19.30/11
Lunch at 12
Nap 12.30/1pm for an hour, hour fifteen max
Snack 3ish
Dinner 5ish
Bath/showet 6.30 if she has one
No toys after 7 only books
7.20/7.30 milk
Bed 7.45/8 asleep usually by 8.15

I read there’s a mini regression around 2 and a half

Finally asleep! No naps but still reaches almost 9pm. 😅

Omg your little one doesn't nap but doesn't sleep until 9pm?! 🙈 What time do they wake up in the morning?

Mine wakes up around 6.30 and is awake till 9.30 if he has a one hour nap, it's too long. Am trying to phase out his nap and if I do he sleeps around 7pm. Even that has increased recently as he used to want to sleep 11 hours after waking if he didn't nap, now it's at least 12 hours after.

We go upstairs around 7 for wash, change, story etc. He's usually asleep by 8 at the latest, but he does mess around a lot lately

As with others, depends on naps. If she naps at home, she’ll take a super chunky one (about 2 hours and I have to wake her!) and goes to bed about 8-8.30pm. On no nap days it’s 7-7.30pm. She doesn’t often nap at nursery and I think she gets a build up of tiredness, then catches up at home with long naps and more sleep overall.

7:30 with a nap x

Avatar

6.30pm with 45 minute nap x wakes up at 7am

8pm and wide awake 👍🏻 after spending the day actively at a farm park 👌🏻

Is he on the cusp of learning new words or skills? Started any new groups or nurseries? This could be the reason? My girl had new words and just seemed to learn more as well as a growth spurt

Avatar

I think probably basically that’s it. He’s just very alert. Definitely learning new words all the time. And just very alert. And just gone to sleep now.

Avatar

wow!

Normally around 7.45pm. Bathtime starts at 6.30pm and then I let her and her brother have half hour to play some Lego or do a sticker book. Then teeth, books and asleep x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
