Has anyone been asked for fit to fly or any sort of doc from easyJet when flying during pregnancy?

Will be flying 28 weeks and 30 weeks pregnant and wondering if I need the letter from the midwife. It doesn’t sound like it according to their online info? Plus my bump isn’t that big. Would be great to hear about anyone’s experiences!

I’d personally get one just in case. I was asked both ways for my fit to fly x

I ended up purchasing one online when we went on our babymoon, which was pretty straightforward as the midwife and GP weren't allowed to do them (I was 32 weeks). Ryanair asked me for mine. EasyJet might be different

Nah, you usually dont at that gestation. I flew on British airways and American Airlines in my first pregnancy at 30 weeks and 34 weeks and no one asked me for anything. I did get one in case, but didn’t need it.

Depends on airline! I used to work for Virgin as crew and if you looked far enough gone you would be questioned on how many weeks/ if we can see your fit to fly. This is dependent on who’s on the gate/ who’s crew though.

Thinking about it virgins long haul only so probably more strict than easy jet!

@Leanne my GP told me that my midwives had to do it and my midwives said my GP had to do it But I ended up getting one from my GP, after my midwives emailed them hahaha

I've flown British airways, easyjet and tui, 3 pregnancies and never been asked. However, i would get one to be on the safe side. British airways website says you need one for your entire pregnancy.

Thank you all! My midwife has offered to do me a letter if I pop in later on this week so will take her up on that as sounds like it’s worth it for peace of mind :)
