@Jade they didn't say which grade it was. Was it low grade because on the test the raised spot wasn't as big as the control?
Mine has CMPA but had a skin prick test and came back negative for IgE so we were cleared to start the dairy ladder. It’s been a long road with me first having to start it to see if she could tolerate it through my breast milk. I’ve been ‘climbing the ladder’ myself and with a couple wobbles/reactions I’m now having pretty much all dairy (but in moderation as she’ll still react if I had like a whole latte with regular milk for example). We’ve just started the ladder with her and she’s already reacted to step 1, so we’re going to have to keep trying and see if she’ll tolerate it eventually so we can move up.
Ours has CMPA and failed his re challenge after 8 weeks of nutramigen. We have been told not to rechallenge until 1 year old x
@Sofia they did the lgE blood test for our little one and the grade was around 0.62 which is the lower grade x
My daughter is 21 months old, last tested her milk/egg allergy back in August 24. Due to the numbers of the bloods and skin prick we were advised to wait a year before trying again. We’ve recently had another baby so wanted to check these allergens again for ease of weaning our 2nd, so went private to check (6 months since the last ones) and they show the same levels in the blood tests. The private Dr suggested trying the egg ladder at home, our NHS DR was shocked and told us not too given the results as a reaction was inevitable. We have EpiPens so we’ve decided to not try and wait for the next lot of tests in August x
My little one was tested and had a low grade egg allergy and they have told us to slowly reintroduce egg in 3 months time. But maybe that’s because ours is low grade. I feel like they don’t give us any info on these things 🫣
