Introducing a duvet!!

Girls need some help my little girl is having disturbed sleep and not sleeping as well as she was when she was a little younger. She will be 2 in July, is there any point in adding a duvet in her cot? Or is it too early to do that? Xx

My son has had a duvet for quite a few months and loves it. Sleeps so much better. He wiggles so much it gives him the freedom

Ohh my boy has been given the choice of a duvet in a big bed since he was 13 months! He didn’t accept it until he was older (20 months) so had a sleeping bag before that! I’d say go for it 🫶🏼

Mines had a duvet since she was 13 months, I also leave her fleece blanket and she chooses the blanket every time 🤣 the duvet is just there for soft landing when she's bouncing on the bed!

Yes go for it! IKEA has some really cute crib sized duvet covers too!

same - my girl hates having her feet covered so she sleeps on her duvet with her blanket over her tummy instead, try to tuck her in when she’s deep asleep and her legs kick it off almost instantly!

My little girl will be 2 in July, but I’m nervous to introduce a duvet incase she goes underneath it as she still moved around a lot? Am I just overthinking it?
Do you tuck the duvet under the mattress at the bottom so they don’t pull it all out? X

We are still using sleeping bags in the cot but about to move to a floor bed and duvet. Whenever I put her on my bed she lies down and gets under the duvet so I think she will like it x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
