Have been cosleeping (after the first bit of sleep in cot) and always been able to settle baby back to sleep feeding in a side lying position. Suddenly this week they keep delatching after feeding then crying and hitting/scratching at me! I try offering breast again but will delatch after a few seconds and cry so eventually me or dad have to get up and try rocking back to sleep. Is this due to teething maybe? I read sometimes feeding can make their gums sore.. Exhausted as they wake every 2 hours or less so was surviving by not having to get up properly to settle back to sleep 😩

I came on here to ask something similar! 6m old previously a very good night time sleeper, now up 3-4 times a night😩. Nothing will settle him other than the boob. I’m not sure if it’s a sleep regression or because he’s bigger now with higher energy requirements and needing a feed/hungry overnight night? It’s been going on 3 weeks now and I’m exhausted.
He’s not delatching at night but does that lots during the day with the hitting/scratching/grabbing the boob. I think that’s because he’s getting distracted
