Visitors at UHCW

I might be having a c-section and I’m just looking at the visiting rules. The website says:

- One birth partner can visit Wards 24 and 25 at any time, day or night.
- A maximum of two visitors can visit 7pm to 8pm (this includes the birth partner)
- Two birth partners can join the mother in labour.
- Only two visitors are allowed at the same time. Swapping of visitors is not allowed.

I’m wondering if my birth partner (husband) wasn’t visiting at that time (after the birth), could my parents both come between 7-8pm?

Alternatively, could one parent come one day, and the other the next? Or is this against the rule of swapping?

Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks!

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
