I’m considering getting a Tonies Box for my little girl. She loves anything digital (our laptops, phones etc) and we’re looking for something that she has control over but that isn’t a screen. We also think it would benefit her and help her staying in her room independently on a night. (She sleeps really well but sometimes will sit in bed and play, and sometimes gets bored and shouts for us and this might prevent this?)
Has anyone got one for their little ones, and would they recommend?

We got the mini yoto and our little girl loves it! Similar prices to buy the box but cards are so much cheaper. And the mini is better travel wise!

We got a tonie box for last Christmas and our daughter loves it, not her favourite thing but has really helped with bedtime. We got the tonie figure that allows you to record your own voice so we have a few of us (including grandparents) where we’ve recorded bedtime stories for her to listen to after we’ve done bedtime routine xx

I got a yoto mini for my little girl because it’s better for travel. To be honest, she’s not really into it yet, she prefers me to read to her x

the bedtime routine is what I’m wanting it for the most I think. Just something to keep her happy and entertained if she doesn’t want to sleep straight away.
thank you for this! My little girl just wants me to play and talk all the time when I’m in the room and half the time won’t listen to a story because she just wants to play, so I’m hoping this would be a good alternative for after I’ve left the room! I do read to her as well, but it’s once I’ve left her room that she gets bored.

Yes we had one for xmas when she was 1, used it everyday since. We put it on in the day when getting ready etc then at nighttime. Highly reccomend

My little boy has a Tonie Box that he adores!! He is still in a cot but we actually pop it in his cot with him a bedtime and he falls asleep listening to it. If a story ends and he still isn't asleep he picks another one to put on. The same if he wakes in the night, he just pops himself on a little story and lies and listens until he falls asleep.
My personal Favorites bit though is the morning. He used to wake up and shout until we went in but now he just pops on a story and listens to it which gives me 5 or 10 minutes to come around and mentally prepare for toddler hood 🤣🤣

We were gifted one for her 1st birthday. She’s really started to take to it more since her 2nd birthday. She’s obsessed with the Hey Duggie one, the Doggyland one and her Minnie Mouse one. We’ve not really ever had screen time so I love that she can sit and listen to them. Highly recommend from this age. Like others have said though, the Yoto Box is a bit more cost effective, but if you have a toddler that struggles with fine motor skills, it can be tricky for them to pop the cards in.

I got one for my daughter at Xmas and she loves it- the characters are great little presents too.
It’s helped us cut down the to being on as we have tonies time and tv time.
The creative characters are my fav- I’ve given non local family members access to the main app and they can make recordings that will upload onto the creative tonie- every few days her aunt/uncles ect will read her a story.
We also record ourselves singing songs together and play them back on the tonies and she loves that too!
Lots of free content via the app.

My boys have one and they love it especially at night time

There’s a Yoto player sale on at the moment, I’ve just bought one for my son, but think I might save it for his birthday present

Thank you everyone! My little one loves little figures and stuff which is why I was thinking Tonies over Yoto, but I’m definitely going to have a look at both and I think I’ll get one for her ☺️☺️
