Baby measuring small

Hi,

I was just wondering if any of you have had your baby (or previous children) measure small at a growth scan, did they measure bigger at the next scan or stay pretty consistent and on the percentile you were on?

Mine jumped from the 30th centile to 66th in 4 weeks! I've heard the scans aren't the most accurate so could be due to that, or I've fattened him up fairly quickly 😅

My first was on about 15th percentile at our 36 week scan and was 6lb 5oz when she was born. This baby is on track for the same, I’d take the measurements with a pinch of salt as they can jump but my experience was pretty accurate

Mine was 10th centile then 50th 2 weeks later. 2 weeks later again and she’s still 50th

Mine was on 0.2 percentile and went up to the 9th percentile then back to the 0.2, she's now 16months and still on 2nd centile 🥰

My first was measuring small in the scans and she was born even smaller 🥲 on the 9th centile but totally fine, we were discharged in less than 24 hours and in a few months she reached the 50th centile. I am now 37 weeks pregnant and have also been told I’m having another small baby… let’s see how he comes out ☺️ As long as they are born healthy I wouldn’t worry too much about their weight.

With my first I got told at 37 weeks that he would be no bigger than 5.5lb, he was born at 38 weeks and weighed 7lb 10oz. So our scans were very inaccurate x

I’m having the same problem now, got another scan next Friday and if she’s still small ivr been told they’ll get her out at 37

My sister was told her baby was measuring small and they wanted to induce her early, however she didn’t want this and listened to her body… she let baby come naturally at 40w+5d and when baby was born she was 8lb4oz. These measurements are not accurate so do what feels right to you xxx

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
