BF past 12 months

Anyone else planning on BF past a year? How do you plan to address nosey people/those who say it’s weird? Other than the AAP recommends at least 2 years! We also aren’t planning on doing cows milk.

It’s not weird at all. Loads of people BF till their LO is 2.

agreed! I love that everyone is pro BF until after 1 then it automatically becomes weird for the older generation. Not that it’s any of their business anyway

Just be straight up and tell them it’s not any of their business and you don’t care for their opinion lol. My MIL bf my husband until he was like 3/4. Everyone ridiculed her but he’s the smartest kid she had imo.

Honestly they should be minding their own business. It’s brave and amazing to BF for over a year! I hope it goes well for you!

That’s weird: “Don’t worry, I wasn’t going to offer you any”
When are you gonna stop bfing that baby: “about five more minutes, thanks”
That’s unnatural: *spray milk at them and scream like a wild person*

You got this, you already know this is natural and normal for you and baby. Don’t let someone shame you for something you know in your heart is the right choice.

My toddler is 3.5 and still breastfeeding and baby is 11 months. The easiest way to shut them up is to either, just tell them you don't care for their opinions, which mostly works, and second to know the facts. about natural term breastfeeding, the benefits of feeding longer, health recommendations around the world sat AT LEAST 2 yrs

I’m not gonna lie, the 5 more minutes one made me snort laugh 😂 I plan on breastfeeding until he either doesn’t want to or I stop producing milk. I’m also almost 7wks pregnant again so maybe he’ll self wean once I’m farther along

which plant based milk did you do? I’m hoping to make it until 18 months if not 24 months!

Someone said it's weird bc "my man puts his mouth there when we have sex" and I asked why they think of their child in that manner. I can't understand how she put those two things together and anyone who says that needs an FBI watch list dedicated to them...

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
