It has to do with the sleep cycles. Usually they are in the lightest sleep early morning. Typically if you can feed them at this time, they should go back to sleep for a little bit longer.

It could be that she’s having too much or too little sleep during the day, or that because her sleep pressure isn’t strong enough in those early hours. I’m a sleep consultant, so happy to have a chat if you wanted some advice 😊

Maybe they are hungry. Just like someone mentioned here. I would recommend feeding and putting them back to sleep

Make sure she is getting her nap everyday!! And that her nap isn’t too close to bedtime. I think some people in the comments are referring to babies and you have a toddler. So i would recommend making sure she isn’t overtired and that she is taking one nap and not two.

The heat 🥵

Waking at that time is usually overtired by bedtime. What's the timings/routine for the day?

It might be to do with the lighter mornings. My little boy wakes up early at the moment, but comes in with us & goes back to sleep.

How old is bub? And how much sleep are they getting within a 24 hour period? It may be that 10 hrs overnight and a nap is all they need? Xx

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
