Im a first time mum to be and for anyone who lives in the UK atm particularly Scotland will know how HOT the weather is right now. Anyways im really struggling my partner is a very social butterfly and he goes to the football so for example hes out from 10am today till whatever time he will be home tonight. Im really struggling with feeling so alone especially on the nice days where everyone is out at beer gardens etc … i dont have any real friends that i could message to hang out with i guess im just looking for some advice. I cant stop crying this morning of the overwhelming feeling of what the heck am i going to do with my time today ☹️

Ive tried to make conversation with other mums on this app but i havent been successful as of yet xx

My friends’ partner does rugby and she goes with him and the wives meet up and chat while the boys play and watch them too..is that an option? Like a football wives society lol.
i wish this was an option lol, most of my partners friends dont have girlfriends/wives its very much not something id even enjoy going too as i personally support a different team from my partner

Ahh if they don’t have partners then that’s a tough one. You’ll have to put yourself out there and reach out then. Pregnant…I suggest looking for prenatal walking/yoga/Pilates/swimming or a pram walking group coz some other mums with young babies/toddlers will most likely to pregnant again having their second etc so whatever prenatal fitness group you can find local I suggest going to that if only for the socialising and so you will have mums to do motherhood with, the babies will only be a couple weeks or a couple months (in the future that won’t matter), apart. I’ve met some mums in prenatal groups that I’ve stayed friends with, I’ve met mums at baby groups when born, and I’ve met mums on here too by msging and inviting out. Look for prenatal groups near you, use your swipe feed on here to chat to local mums. That’s where I’ve found my mum friends, a couple from each season of my life. I made one friend at my prenatal app too while waiting I chatted her up and we swapped numbers.

What part of Scotland are you from. There are a lot of Scottish ladies here if you are close to where I’m from (Glasgow city centre) I wouldn’t mind meeting for a coffee or a walk along the canal if it helps. 🩷
Hope you feel better soon. I’m 9weeks tomorrow but we could still have a coffee or a walk if you’re just looking for a little company. 💗💗💗

I'm in Glasgow with a 19 month old. Friendships and making friends can be difficult. Feel free to drop me a message ❤️ x
