He is crying & pulling away from both boobs ? He arches his back and grabs at nipple with his hands but is giving feeding cues. Anyone got any ideas what this is or solutions for this ?

so my little one is doing this it may just be that your offering too soon. that’s what’s happening with my baby. sometimes he may be hungry but wants to finish what he was doing or just isn’t hungry enough yet. how old is your LO? i’ve been waiting until my little one had his fists extremely tight because if they aren’t extremely tight then he will most likely refuse it. He’s been doing that for about 5 days or so

Teething mate x it will pass try some bonjela on the nip x

How old is the baby?

My 3 week old does this she gets herself all worked up and won’t latch on. Sometimes it’s because she has wind or a pain in her stomach so I burp her or do her legs in a bicycle. If that doesn’t work then I move to a different room that’s quieter and darker and try calm her down a bit so she can latch on easier. I have found that’s she’s stared to fight going to sleep too so sometimes it looks like she wants food but I give her a dummy and put on some white noise and she usually falls asleep. Not sure if this helps x
Sorry didn't say how old- he is 4 weeks today! So not teething lol x
Yes that helps @Cait thank you - I do think he gets overtired as doesnt love nap during day unless he is on me, so have been trying dummy and white noise!! I'll try the quieter darker room too.

Mines the same she will only fall asleep on my and then I have to try and put her down without waking her up or she will scream lol. Hope you find something that helps x

Sounds like witching hour, normal evening fussiness in newborns!

Babies can be teething early mate - I’ve heard of babies that get their first teeth after a few days. It’s not a set schedule

But yeah could def also be sensory overload. My baby only contact napped too at that age so makes sense
