Did window to the womb get your gender right?

We went for a private gender scan at 15 weeks and 2 days and they told us we were having a boy! We’ve been so so excited but since so many people have told me that window to the womb got their gender wrong?? Is it best to just wait for our 20 week NHS scan😭
We didn’t see what the sonographer saw as we decided to find out later at home.. but we didn’t get clear photos at all from the appointment (so unclear we chose not to have any printed!)

Anyone have perfectly fine experiences with window to the womb (specifically Swansea..)

I've had 2 gender scans in window to womb but Cardiff and they were both correct, they were both done around 16 weeks 😊

Also went to the Swansea one and they were right! X

Swansea here and they was correct

Similar experience here and we waited to have our anomaly scan at 21 weeks and they confirmed it.

Ours was correct 15+4. They’re more likely to say girl and it be a boy than the other way around apparently xx

Ours was correct. When we went and didn’t get any clear ones they said we could come back free of charge to get better ones next time. We stuck with the ones we had bc we liked them anyway. This was Cardiff

Ours was correct but we waited until 28 weeks x

I know people who had the gender at window to the womb and it was incorrect. Additionally they ruined our gender reveal as they left the sticker on the cannon 🤦🏽‍♀️

We were Cardiff at 15 + 4 and they were correct with a boy. If you’re in doubt you could wait until 20 weeks to tell anyone else, but it’s more likely they’d get it wrong if it’s a girl - sometimes the willy can be hard to spot/ hiding, with a boy they usually know easier x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
