Size 2 to 3 nappies

The jump from size 2 to size 3 nappies is wild!! My LG was wearing size 2 Mamia nappies but the explosions were every time so time for size up. We had been gifted size 3 Pampers and they were great. The size 3 Mamia ones are absolutely ridiculous and she leaked wee straight out of them.

Any recommendations for size 3 nappies that won’t break the bank? 😩

I am like a bargain hunter for pampers. We are 4 months in and haven’t had a single blow out and maybe under 5 wet throughs since birth.

I scan all my pampers packets in the apps for vouchers off and I search each supermarket offers to get the best deal or I use the baby offers at boots and do a bulk order.
I once got £14 worth of boots points for a £100 order on wipes and pampers so I thought that was pretty decent!

Tesco fred and flo size 3 are really good, I use them on my little one with no leaks and not ridiculously priced either and you get 56 in a pack x

Rascals are really good 😊

I really like the size 3 Sainsbury own brand ones, they are on the smaller side and are a great one for first sizing up from size 2

Have a look at the weights on them as they will vary between shops. So a size 3 in one brand can be a lot bigger than a size 3 in another brand. So maybe try a size 3 with a lower weight range on it if Aldi seems too big?

I’ve just moved my little boy into size 3 mamia as we were getting more leaks with the size 2 over the last 2 weeks.
They are a bit big but so far so good

I use size 3 mamia nappies and I think they're amazing, especially for the price. Only ever had one blowout with them. They do tend to leak at night so we've opted for putting her in the pampers total dry nappies just at night and have not had any leaks since. Maybe try doing that if the leaks are mainly happening at night?

Fred and Flo size 3 are good, but don't have the blue line unfortunately.

Sizing is crazy different even with the same brand. I had some normal pampers and a pack of the pure protection pampers and despite being the same size, the nappies looked completely different! Whatever size my baby is in, I always size up for bedtime. I did find with my first that the bigger sizes in mamia weren’t great

We have tesco’s size 3 & we’ve had no leaks yet 🙂 x

We just sized up from 2 to 3 in Mamia nappies, they seemed huge and we had a couple of blow outs but then realised we weren't doing them up tight enough, the tabs need to cross sand the nappy needs to be up a bit higher. We've not had any leaks since but I agree they do seem massive and they also don't seem to have the 'poop pocket' at the top 🤣

Been using tesco own brand nappy and they're fantastic, I remember I used them for my older kid when she was still in nappies too always brilliant

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Not drinking

I’m going crazy. Baby born at 2.26kg. Slow to put on weight. This last week hasn’t put on any. Been trying to feed him at night and he’s not interested at all. Fast asleep. During day he will have 5 minute gulps and that’s it. He don’t cry for milk. I’ve got to keep offering to him. I try to offer it every hour but I don’t know what I’m doing. HV said nutrition comes after 5 minutes so I should pump first and then give him. I find it so hard. I tried to pump one boob nothing came. The other abit came. Tried giving him express he’s not interested in that too. Sometimes he will go for a longer a feed but not long at all. He’s 4 months and is currently 5.46kg. I have no family or friend support here and wish I had a cook, cleaner and nanny to help with everything so I can concentrate on the little one. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but I’m loosing it. It doesn’t help that my also stressed generally about my relationship and life circumstances. Any advice that will work. Any comfort you can give. I’m fed up. Is this regression - not feeding. He’s fast fast asleep. I’ve been trying to push the nipple in but that mouth is closed shut. I took some clothes off. Changed his nappy but he’s still asleep. Please help

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
