Cost of Doula?
How much do you typically pay for a Doula? My husband and I combined make a pretty good income but from the research I’ve done, we still couldn’t really afford one. I see so many people hiring one so I’m wondering realistically what does everyone pay and how??

$2000 in hawaii - covers prenatal, labor/delivery, post partum
We paid $500 for our doula in 2023 in Oregon.
In AZ they can be quite expensive I’ve had quotes range from $1,800-$4,000 depending on birth or postpartum type and length of services.
I charged 1200 for a standard 12 hour birth. If it went over 12 hours I charged by the hour after that.
I paid $1400 in Atlanta. Many doulas here quoted us around $2000, but I thought it’s a bit too much for, basically, one day of work.
