10 weeks old baby very fussy at feeds

I would assume it’s his 10 week growth spurt. My 10 week old slept almost all day yesterday and had a hard time taking is bottle, only wanted to breast feed. As always, if you have any doubts take him to the pediatrician.

Mine keeps falling asleep mid feed then waking up over and over so I am constantly feeding her

What kind of bottles r u using? I have a 10 week old also.. we use Dr. Brown. my routine: every am I wash all her bottles (6) I prefill them all with the correct amount of water bc I have to fortify her formula for weight gain, anyways so I prefill all of them with water and I put one drop of gas drop in each bottle.. just a drop not the entire dose… that way when she’s hungry I just put the formula in and feed her.. this is my thoughts tho:
1. he could be getting really gassy and the gas build up in his chest or stomach is painful which causes him to b irritable. Make sure you’re burping every ounce or 2.
2. Check the nipple & make sure it’s slow flow or the flow for his age and it’s not going in too fast..
3. Try different styles of nipples maybe?? (Wide, skinny etc)
4. I would also make sure you’re using a bottle designed so they’re not getting air while drinking (we use Dr. Brown & love them)
5. Make sure the bottles are washed good & sterilize them.
6.keep him on schedule
