How do you know when to drop a nap in the day? My little one currently has been awake for about 3 hours and just keeps wanting to play, showing no signs of tiredness... yet.. until its too late ๐

Also interested in this! Sometimes the cues are clear (yawning) but I always realise too late when the crying comes ๐ข

My son will literally stay awake for hours, I have to force him to nap otherwise it all ends in horrific tearsโฆ him and then usually me ๐
if I could nap 4 times a day and then still sleep at night I would, and I wouldn't cry about it ๐คฃ

@Sophie I feel you. I have had this happen a number of times. Overtiredness is the worst. I've had a few breakdowns with constant crying when he's fought sleep so much he's got himself so worked up

I find huckleberry really useful for sleep monitoring, it helps me keep on track of his day and wake windows and be more aware of his sleepy cues - my LB ends up with a red monobrow when heโs sleepy ๐
