He’s a Baby, Not a Future Heartbreaker

I really dislike when women say things like, “He’s going to give you trouble when he’s older,” or “He’s going to be a heartbreaker,” or “Girls will be knocking at your door.” Like, he’s only one year old…. He’s going to be none of those things. I always redirect and say, “No, he’s going to be a good, smart boy who does well in school.” I get they think it’s “cute” to say, but honestly, I don’t like it. He’s just a baby, words have power, so please don’t speak negative things over my child.
