So last night my boyfriend and I thought Oral sex would be a good idea but apparently it was not, as he was doing his thang I got intense cramps like never before so we stopped. When I woke up this morning after getting a few hours of sleep I had the same intense cramps and woke up very dizzy with no bleeding has anyone else ever experience this or know why this is happening every time I get intimate?

definitely something i’d go to your doctor about personally

Were the cramps AFTER/during orgasm or before?

Run to the doctor go now you may be having trouble holding this baby in they may need to get you a stitch or meds or something either way go to the doctor asap I have daily sex during pregnancy with no issues so honestly if that happened to me I would freak out

Orgasms can cause cramps during pregnancy. Cute reminder from your body to tell your other half to stay away 🤣🤣
But sex is completely safe during pregnancy unless told otherwise.

I get crampy after sex and I’ve been told it’s normal! I also learned sperm is good for you while growing baby (: so long as your partner eats healthy and stays active
It was before and during orgasm which was weird I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant so I’m unsure if this is normal, I’ve tried to have sex before at 5-6 weeks and the same thing happened but the cramps weren’t as intense

Noted. Only thing I know is this: I had INTENSE cramping after sex once before (before being pregnant) and it was the worst. I attributed it to my endometriosis after looking at stuff online. I’d call your GYN just to be sure intense cramping is ok. I know light cramping is normal, but idk about intense.

Don't be embarrassed to get checked, but it's not uncommon to cramp during and after orgasm 🫂 is this your first by chance? I had an awful time with cramps with my first.

it may not be the sex but the pregnancy. i find that i cramp a lot at night and it can be pretty intense!! also sex feels weird for me right now idk lol
Yes this is my first baby so all this is extremely new to me, the cramps eventually went away with some Tylenol but I’m still feeling mild cramping today
I’m wondering if this is whats happening, I feel as though my cramps start coming around a lot at night not so much during the day

i’d still talk to your doctor. your pelvic floor may not be strong enough to experience intercourse at the moment. cramping for a hour after may be normal, but if it’s this prolonged there’s other issues needing to be addressed for certain
I went to an appointment today and they didn’t really give me the answers I was looking for, they just did an ultrasound and said everything seemed to be fine, I took some Tylenol this morning for the intense cramps and that seemed to help a lot but it was still a very anxiety inducing experience

i’d schedule to have them actually look at the cervical opening. with a ultrasound, they probably focused on your ovaries and seen nothing wrong. you have to be your own health advocate, it’s very common in women’s health care to be told it’s nothing, but we know our bodies.
i experienced some cramping after intercourse in the very early stages, 3-4 weeks. at my 7 week ultrasound they discovered a SCH (hematoma) in my uterus, and put me on pelvic rest which i’m still actively on. some things can’t be seen and detected so easily on ultrasounds. of course baby is fine, but it’s best to outlaw all other possibilities. any healthcare provider who tells you that intense cramping into the next day after sex is normal, has no idea what they’re talking about

If you were previously told to refrain from sexual intercourse I would be worried as orgasms can cause contractions as what my dr said when I went to the er. And I was told to refrain from any type of sexual activity. I would definitely go to your obgyn asap or the ER and get checked out. Drs say sex is safe during pregnancy but everyone’s pregnancy is different.
I wasn’t told anything about refraining from sex but I took that upon myself and have been feeling a lot better since! I’m wondering if that’s what happened, it did feel like a painful contraction during sex but it concerned me because I was only 6 & a half weeks pregnant and didn’t know if that was normal or not since I’m so early in my pregnancy
Honestly I have no clue I’m one of those people who don’t know anything about my cycle because previously when I was on birth control it was so inconsistent that I kinda just let it do its thang lol this helps a lot because I do believe I get my period around this time of month but I’m not 100% sure 😆
