Hi ladies,
Has anyone had an nhs allergy appointment for their LO?
What to expect from the appt, we have one tomorrow which we waited a year for. What needs to be said to be taken seriously (I know a lot of the nhs follow protocols and buzz words etc).

My boy had one at around 6 months old, first appointment he had a prick test to determine allergies (apparently they don’t do this till 1 years old) but they done it to mine at 6 months roughly, went through diet questions, what he eats, drinks, what creams n stuff I have tried for eczema flare ups, just the general questions, it’ll all be stuff you’ll know straight away x

If you have an appointment then I think they’ll take you seriously, they just do skin prick test and mine had a blood test too to confirm any suspected allergens and you also get referred to a dietician
