Hi all, do any of you have any tips for ways to encourage baby to roll/ practice the movement please?

I’ve let both my babies just do it when they’re ready. There’s no timeframe on it and every baby is different. Only thing I would say is plenty time lying on their back on a play mat or something. When they’re ready they’ll start. My daughter was rolling at 3 months but my sons 4 months and only ever shown any interest once. Just going at his pace x

great thank you! X

I’ve done all the tiktok and instagram methods and none of it has worked.
He rolled front to back for a couple of days and then stopped and he shows zero interest in rolling back to front.
He has a flat head so I’m trying to keep tummy time up but it hasn’t really changed much.
I’m now of the mindset that once he rolls I can’t leave him on his mat for a minute whilst I answer the door anymore 😂

I roll my baby in and out of Tummy time as I saw somewhere that helps them get used to the movement. Same with getting dressed I'll roll her onto her side like more so than I need and make a big song and dance about it. The last 2 days we've caught her twice on her side but she hasn't gone any further than that yet

my eldest learnt to do front to back did it twice and then didn’t roll again until she could do both ways
