Drop in weight - growth scans

has anyone been having growth scans and had a drop in weight in them? Has it been the correct when baby’s been born or was baby bigger than they said?

At 35 weeks baby was measuring 6 lb 14 at growth scan. I’ve had 4 scans and she’s been consistent at 97th percentile each time.

At 37 weeks + 3 today she is showing as only 6 lb 10. Both the umbilical chord and placenta are fine. I’ve had section brought forward to next week as result.

I’m worried in 2 weeks baby is showing as lost weight .. she was back to back during the scan and was hard to measure.. sonographer was trying for 20 minutes so I’m hoping this is why measurement is showing such a drop.

I know growth scans can be inaccurate but I’m more interested in whether scans have shown a drop and whether it was correct.

Thanks in advance x

Definitely take it with a pinch of salt if everything else seems to be okay. I've been on extra scans all the way through and at about the same time as you they measured a reduction in his abdominal circumference and apparently he'd only put on 200g in 2 weeks. You obviously worry because they talk about placenta failure etc. But went back a week later... Everything measuring fine and now 1kg heavier and back in track 🤷‍♀️

Estimated weight went from 43rd centile at 32 weeks to 9th centile at 36 weeks. I was induced two days later and he weighed 5 lb 1 which was 7th centile. Not the birth experience I was planning for but even though he is small he is perfectly healthy

At 35+ 4 they said baby was 7lb I had him 10 days later at 37 weeks and he came out at 6lbs 8oz so smaller than they thought he would be and on the 9th centile which is tiny for me especially with me being a diabetic xx

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
