Flat head

My little boy is slightly flat on the side (started about 6 weeks) I ended up taking him to physio as he wouldn't move his neck properly - turned out it was where he got taken out by c section but hes 11 months now and its still there but does look better, once they start moving and sleeping on their side/tummies it starts to go back so honestly I wouldn't worry.

Oh thank you! He has no problem wriggling so I’m hopeful instead of playing on his mat I can sit him up in his chair and that helps

My little boy favoured one side but once he started rolling and did more tummy time it soon went back to normal

My daughters was quite bad, turns out she had torticollis, we went to see a cranial osteopath which helped massively! I wish I’d done it sooner! X

Yes, it doeslook a bit flat. It is very common though! Once it becomes flat, it’s important to get to see your paediatrician or doctor. Most babies will need a helmet to correct their skull. My best friend’s baby had this starting at seven weeks and wore a helmet until a year.

I do tummy time yes a lot on my chest and then we have a tummy time pillow which I use for around 30 minutes each day. He was checked at 8 weeks and she said it wasn’t a concern just lots of tummy time but it’s obviously a worry. Hoping it will even itself out but will check in with the HV.

Have you tried flipping him around in the cot so put his head where his feet usually are?
My lg favours the side of the next to me crib where she can see me so if i flip her head to toe she'll start using the otherside of her head to sleep on so she can see me

Honestly when they start moving around and on their tummy more lifting their it will change. I wouldn't be worried and surprised at 8wks old it was even mentioned
