My little boy is on the cusp of learning to roll and he’s started doing it at night so he gets into this awkward position in his next to me crib and wakes himself up, has anyone else found this? And is it just a case of getting through the phase? He’s quite big so there’s not a huge amount of space to fully roll over which I think is making it more tricky

My little one is doing this last few nights so I gave up and just let her roll on her belly and fall asleep like that in the first place. It's first time tonight so will see how it goes. She can roll both ways and we use owlet sock.

My little boy is the same! He’ll have a good stretch of like 4ish hours then after that he wakes every 45min-1hour trying to roll over. He’s always on his side so I’m not sure if he can do it fully in his sleeping bag. Every time I have to resettle him and put him down on his back- he can’t roll front to back yet. I’ve even tried putting him on his front then he just cries cause he can’t get back. No advice but I’m in the same boat! Xx

My boys been rolling since Easter and this is still happening 😭

Hey guys we had this about a month ago. It was hellish! Cause he got in such a tizz every time he couldnt turn back. At first id always correct him onto his back but he had good head and neck control so I started leaving him on his front but then he would wake and be unable to flip to his back and get freaked out. Nightmare! I was at my wits end. We did 'rolling bootcamp' at home to teach him to roll front to back 🤣 and considered moving him from next to me to big cot but honestly it was just a phase. It lasted roughly 2 weeks from memory. A hellish 2 weeks lol
