Is anyone suffering from nerve damage or chronic back pain from your epidural/birth?
My back is really taking a toll on me, my mental health and my physical health. Wondering whether I need to get checked or this is normal…

Get it checked. I was told with mine it was just all the muscles recovering and going back to where they were before but if still hurting in X amount of time, see them again. But if it's affecting you that badly it is always worth getting checked out hun
Thank you! It’s one specific point in my back where if i touch it, it sends a shock up my back. Got a doctors appointment this afternoon so they can look at it as it’s causing me so much pain and stress!

That's okay 😊 hope everything turns out okay and it's nothing serious 🤞🤞

I did with my first, they attempted an epidural 10 times in a row with 5 injections of general anaesthetic :) my back was fucked. You can still see the line where they tried and it’s been 2 years next week! I had physio after birth and an mri to make sure no where was damaged. I still get horrific back pain I won’t like but it’s not constant anymore sometimes I can’t lay flat on my back either because it sends pain up and down my spine

See a good chiropractor. I suffered with lower back pain for a year after my first baby and one visit to chiropractor I was cured. I have just had my second and seen them again after birth and no pain. They will click you all over and realign your spine.
