Anyone who will have a 3 yo and a newborn are you getting a double buggy? My daughter isn’t the best at walking and is cheeky as hell and occasionally runs off and laughs so I’m worrying about how I will cope with a newborn in a pram and her walking but all the double buggy’s I’ve looked at only go up to 3 years. I have looked at the sitting down buggy boards but not sure how good they are

I wasn’t going to but not sure if I will regret it! I was going to get a buggy board but I may keep an eye out on market place for a cheap double pram as like your daughter mine just runs unless she’s having snacks in the pram. Was hoping by November she’d of grown out of it though but 🫣😂

My little boy will turn 3 in January so I am very undecided. He currently only sleeps in the car or the pram but he may have dropped his nap by then. I think I will decide closer to the time

I asked this question on a local parenting group yesterday and here’s what everyone said…. (My age gap will be 2.5 years)

I have 2½ yrs between my first two and I am definitely glad we have a double! There were times oldest just sat on the buggy board, but there were also plenty of times where he really just needed to be strapped into the seat so I knew he couldn't run off or anything. Long days out on my own I was especially glad of the double, particularly when baby was hungry or something and oldest had been testing my patience for hours, or I just needed 5 minutes to pee without him trying to climb up everything or lick the toilet or something stupid! He used it occasionally up until about 4 or 4½ I'd say.
Third is due this year and we'll have a similar gap again. Second is a bit more reliable for not running off but I think we'll still use the double quite a lot, especially because it means I can have baby and toddler in the pram and oldest on the buggy board so they're all together.
We do use a sling quite a bit as well (or did when they were younger) but personally I wouldn't be without the double as well

Nope. Most max out at 15kg and my 3 year old is 16kg. It affects the pram having weight off balanced.
We have a buggy board on the back of the big pram or if it’s a long day I will babywear my baby and she gets the pram
