4 week old getting harder to get to sleep

I feel you on this, you are not alone. We had a really bad afternoon and evening yesterday, where he wouldn't stop crying either, as he was overtired. Yes I don't know how to get him down for a day nap unless he is on me. It's seriously cute but I don't know how I can get anything done

Mine just doesn't sleep anymore either, drops off for 5 minutes then wakes furious and won't stop crying. I thought he was in pain and tbh he may well be. It's rough

@Laura God I'm sorry, hopefully it's just a phase for a few days and you can both get some sleep. I'm hoping to try a body sling for day naps, as can't figure out if it's cos he is sleeping too long in the day or not enough. Been trying one bottle of formula on a night as well which has resulted in a longer sleep but then he's been more fussy in the day x

I'm currently going through the same with my 4 week old. She came out of hospital congested and naps were difficult then, when the congestion eased off she was napping better but now her brother has passed on his snotty nose and we're back to square one, so it could just be an illness thing 🤷‍♀️ my only saving grace is that she's sleeping well at night due to not sleeping much through the day, so swings and roundabouts
