My little boy is 17 weeks and has always suffered reflux issues.
We tried no cows milk formula, which didn’t help then ended up on normal formula with carobel thickener. This seemed to work until the last couple of weeks when he’s started being sick again. We’re using the same amount of thickener to before so I can’t understand why he suddenly has reflux again.
I’m reluctant to use more carobel as he already struggles to poo due to the thickness and has to have laxatives.
I’ve read on forums that weening can help with reflux babies. Has anybody tried this early?

We are 18 weeks with a reflux baby and we also struggled with the carobel. Switched to aptimil anti reflux milk and it works wonders for us.xx
we tried that and he couldn’t poo at all! Seemed a never ending battle and I thought we’d cracked it till now 🤦🏼♀️

Oh thats a shame, it worked so well for us 😟 its so hard isnt it, have you tried omeprazole instead of the carobel? It didnt work for us but it was another option.xx
