Overnight diaper recommendations

My babies having leeks at least twice a week , we’re using millie moon for the day it works very well not a single blowout but at night even though I buy the night one that keeps happening usually the leeks from the side since he is a side sleeper we’re using size 6 now we’re 96% percentile ?
We tried Huggies , Kirkland and pampers do not work for us.

Try sizing up for just the night diaper. You could also do two diapers (never tried it but I've heard of others trying it)

We use Huggies little snugglers and they’ve been working well!

Huggies overnites is what I used I only use them at night and haven’t had leaks

Avatar

I also use Millie moons for day time and I’d say they r similar quality

Avatar

Millie moon's website suggests putting the diaper on backwards if you have this problem, but I've never tried it I just sized up for night time

Also sized up for night time due to leaking

Huggies

I know everyone is saying size up, which I’ve heard too, but wondering how much baby weighs? We use Millie moon also but we’re in size 3 and he’s 83%. Maybe size 6 is too loose around the legs? Just a thought?

I sized up and use Huggies little dreamers. My 7 month old sleeps 10-12 hours at night no wakings and the diaper doesn’t leak. But I sized up which I think may have been key.

I use Coterie and it’s the best, it is expensive though. I haven’t checked if they have size 6, mines in 4.

Add diaper booster inserts for overnight. We use adhesive free sposie.

Mama bear on Amazon been using them and they are leak proof my daughter sleep her first 9 hr stretch and the sleep was needed for both of us but her clothes were bone dry

Avatar

I agree with Krissie that the diapers may be too big

I use luvs. My son sleeps typically 8pm to 7/730am and we've never had a leak with them and he's wearing the same size he does all day. Luvs are honestly the one diapers for all my kids that have worked wonderfully

Pampers and Kirkland worked great for us. Maybe you need to be doing a midnight changing

Avatar

I use Millie Moon or Bum Bum they’re so much roomier than most diapers imo.

My baby was leaking through the Huggies nighttime so I switched to rascals nighttime (they are at Walmart). They’ve been working great!

I am trying that tonight hopefully it works

Avatar

for the night i did size up already

Avatar

he is 22 lb we use size 5 during the day and 6 at night

Avatar

my baby has chubby thighs that why we size at the first place

I’ve always noticed my kiddos had leaks when they got too cold at night! Put an extra layer or just some socks on (if they didn’t have any on) and that seemed to always do the trick!

Avatar

Also, make sure their weenie is pushed downwards when you put diapers on at night!

Avatar

For reference, my kiddos is 6m (pees like an adult lol) he goes to sleep at 8pm every night and wakes up at 6:30am every morning. He never pees through his diaper unless I have less clothing on him!
The other day he had a “romper” on short sleeve and shorts & his 1.0 tog sleeper. Woke up COVERD in pee, he’s also a stomach sleeper which makes them pee more!
The next night, I had him on his bamboo sleeper (long sleeve, pants) and his 1.0 tog sleeper and he was fine!

I use Huggies an luvvs day an night for my almost 7 month olds

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
